February 10 - 14, 2008: Rabbinical Assembly annual convention, Washington, DC.
Israel program:Sunday Evening, February 10th — Opening Plenary "Israel at 60". Keynote speakers Ambassadors Martin Indyk, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, and Sallai Meridor, Israel's Ambassador to the U.S., with entertainment by youth choir from the Kiryat Bialik Masorti congregation. June 15-19 2008: Cantors Assembly annual convention, Hudson Valley Resort, Kerhonkson, NY.
Israel program:Wednesday, June 18, 8:30pm — Gala concert celebrating Israel's 60th Birthday, including a large chorus and outstanding soloists performing a variety of Israeli music. A dance group will also perform, and there will be opportunities for audience participation. Concert is open to the public.
